Here we have a Tornado that went to select undercarriage down using hydraulics. This fails due to a fault, so the pilot selects the emergency system of the blow down using a nitrogen bottle to operate the undercarriage. This had been fitted or left with no gas in it and this resulted in the latent failure and the aircraft landing on its fuselage.
